Steel Painting & Galvanizing
Barnes Pipe stocks most material bare. To reduce the likelihood of rust developing, we can prime paint your order in our standard grey primer, or an alternate red primer. We also offer Hot Dip Galvanizing! Hot dip galvanizing not only creates a more durable coating, but since the pipe is completely submerged it gets to all areas of the pipe that would otherwise be inaccessible by brushing or spraying on primer. This complete coat of galvanizing provides an unbroken protective barrier against the elements thus making your steel pipe last longer.

Powder Coating is a dry coating that is sprayed onto pipe to give it a uniform, durable and high quality finish. The powder is finely ground particles of pigment and resin that is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto a grounded part and then cured under heat to allow it to form a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint and primer. Powder coating is resistent to corrosion, heat, impact, abrasion, fading from sunlight and extreme weather. Most of the time, pipe must be sandblasted before powder coating to provide the best possible surface to powder coat.
